Here's your chance!

Below are opportunities to further the mission of Men's Forge and of Bon Air Baptist Church. Especially today and especially among young men, the harvest is plenty. Let's not let the workers be few. Step up and become a part of something that is eternally meaningful.

Leading an off-site small group

In a 2023 national survey, two-thirds of 18- to 24-year-old men said, “No one really knows me well.” Men's small groups help men make deep and lasting friendships. Be a part of helping young men cultivate friends as you help them develop into strong and capable Christian men. Send an email to babcmen@gmail.com and let us know you're interested. Handing out Breakfast Promotions

Sundays, November 2, 9, and 16; 9-9:30 a.m., and 10:30-11 a.m., under the portico of BABC's main entrance

Lead a Workout Ministry

Workout model
- One hour once per week at a day/time you select
- Outdoors in all weather
- An assigned participant leads a 30-minute basic training style workout
- Another assigned participant leads a 30-minute devotional
- Other assigned participants help with set-up and breakdown

Role of Leaders
- Assign responsibilities for workout leadership, devotionals, and set-up/breakdown
- Coach leaders

Create a Modern-day Knight Group

About Modern-day Knight
- A group of fathers with sons of similar ages work together to raise their sons according to Biblical manhood
- Rights of passage are included, such as ages 13, 16, etc., culminating with marriage

Role of Leaders
- Assemble a group of fathers with sons of similar ages
- Get copies of "Raising a Modern-day Knight" by Robert Lewis
- Plan with the other fathers to collaborate as you raise your sons to Biblical manhood

Serve Homeless at the Oregon Hill Baptist Center

Donate food (eggs, sausage, pancake mix, syrup, fruit, Joe's Inn potatoes)
Meet at Bon Air Baptist Church at 8:15 a.m.
Cook and serve from 9 to 11 a.m.
Return to Bon Air Baptist Church at about 11:30
